Dessert Dock ("we", "us", "our") operates dessertdock.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have over it.

What we collect

We only collect data you give us directly, through two forms on this site:

• Launch list sign-up: your email address, so we can tell you where and when Dessert Dock opens.
• Landlord / site enquiry form: your email address, the site address or location you tell us about, approximate space available, and any additional details you choose to add.

We don't use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts on this site, and we don't collect any data automatically beyond what's needed to serve the page.

Why we collect it

• To send you an update when Dessert Dock has a location to announce (launch list).
• To assess and respond to site proposals from landlords and site owners, including arranging a site survey where relevant.

The legal basis for processing this data is your consent, given by submitting the relevant form.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your data. We may share it with service providers who help us operate (for example, an email delivery or form-handling provider), strictly to provide that service and under terms that require them to protect your data. We don't share your data for their own marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

Launch list emails are kept until you unsubscribe or until we've launched and the list is no longer needed. Landlord enquiries are kept while we're actively considering the site, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case discussions resume, after which they're deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Ask what data we hold about you, and get a copy of it.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Ask us to delete your data, or unsubscribe from the launch list at any time.
• Withdraw your consent at any time.
• Complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you think we've mishandled your data.

Children

This site and our services are aimed at adults; we don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business evolves, for example once we're trading and take payment or delivery-app data. We'll update the effective date above when we do.
